How to practice this skill effectively
- Read the questions before the audio plays — you will know what to listen for.
- Watch for negation (nie, nigdy, mało) and near-synonyms in distractors; they are classic exam traps.
- If you miss a word, keep listening — later sentences often repeat or clarify the same information.
Common mistakes at this level
- Trying to write down every word instead of the key information, then losing track of the next sentence.
- Choosing an option because it repeats a word from the recording, rather than one that matches its actual meaning.
