Terms of Service

Effective date: October 28, 2026

Changes in this version

  • Shorter text without standard clauses we do not need, such as severability, indemnity and entire agreement.
  • Added what you need to use the Service, when the contract starts, how to cancel and end it, out-of-court dispute options, and the reasons for which we may change these Terms.
  • Mandatory consumer law of the country where you live still protects you.
  • Withdrawal and complaints now follow the paid plans section, so section numbers have changed.
The rules for using PolishReady.

1. Who we are

PolishReady (the “Service”) is run by Kseniya Beliauskaya as an unregistered business activity (działalność nierejestrowana) (“we”, “us”). The address and email are at the bottom of this page.

These Terms are the contract between you and us. By using the Service you accept them; if you do not accept them, do not use the Service. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

2. The Service

The Service provides digital content and tools to prepare for the Polish state certificate exams, including reading, listening, grammar, writing and speaking practice. It is available on our website, with a free plan and paid plans.

You need an internet connection, an up-to-date web browser with cookies and JavaScript enabled, and an email address. Speaking practice also needs a microphone.

As with any online service, there are risks such as malware and phishing. Keep your browser up to date and do not share your password.

We may update the Service. If we materially reduce paid features, we email you at least 14 days in advance, and if you cancel for that reason we refund the unused part of the prepaid period.

3. Age

You must be at least 16 to use the Service. If you are under 18, you need the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Your account

  • Give accurate details when you register and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Tell us at support@polishready.pl if someone uses your account without permission.
  • We may suspend or close an account for breach of these Terms, abuse, fraud, non-payment or a legal duty. Where we can do so without defeating that reason, we tell you first.

5. Paid plans

  • Paid plans renew monthly or every 3 months until you cancel. You pay in advance for each period, online on the payment page, using the methods shown there. You can cancel at any time in your profile or by email to support@polishready.pl. The amount shown before payment is the total in PLN; no tax is added on top.
  • If you cancel, renewal stops at the end of the paid period, and paid features stay until then.
  • You can withdraw within 14 days (section 6). After that, cancelling does not refund the current period.
  • If we end a paid plan for a reason other than your material breach or non-payment, we refund the unused part of the prepaid period.
  • If a payment fails, we may suspend the plan after telling you.
  • We email you about a price increase at least 30 days before it applies. You can cancel before then; otherwise the new price applies from the next period.

6. Right of withdrawal

You can withdraw from a paid plan within 14 days from the day you buy it, without giving a reason. Email support@polishready.pl from your account address. We refund the amount paid within 14 days of receiving the email, by the same payment method. Withdrawal ends paid access immediately.

7. Complaints

Send a complaint, including one about digital content or a digital service that does not conform to the contract, to support@polishready.pl with your account email and a short description. We reply within 14 days of receipt; if we do not, the complaint is treated as accepted (Art. 7a of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). A complaint does not affect your right to go to court. If we do not resolve your complaint, you may use out-of-court consumer dispute resolution, for example a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa); see polubowne.uokik.gov.pl.

8. Free plan

We may change the free plan and its limits, or withdraw it.

9. Your content

  • You keep ownership of what you submit, such as essays, recordings and images.
  • You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and process it only to provide and secure the Service, including through service providers that host it or generate feedback. We do not train our own models on this content.
  • You confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. We may refuse to process content that breaches these Terms.

10. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • submit unlawful content or use the Service for unlawful purposes;
  • share your account or sell access to it;
  • resell or redistribute content from the Service, or collect it with bots or scrapers, without our permission;
  • bypass security or usage limits, or disrupt the Service.

A breach may lead to suspension or ending of access (section 14). A refund then applies only as in section 5.

11. Intellectual property

The content, software and brand of the Service belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you no rights to our name or logo.

12. Automated feedback

Feedback on writing and speaking is generated automatically by an AI model. It is for practice: it can contain mistakes and is not an examiner’s assessment or an exam result. We do not guarantee any result in an official Polish certificate exam.

13. Liability

We provide the Service with due care. If digital content or a digital service does not conform to the contract, your statutory consumer rights apply. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including for wilful misconduct (Art. 473 § 2 of the Polish Civil Code).

14. Start and end of the contract

  • The contract for the free plan starts when you create an account. The contract for a paid plan is made when you buy it; paid access starts when your payment is confirmed. If you use the Service without an account, these Terms apply while you use it.
  • You can end the contract at any time by deleting your account in your profile. A refund applies only as in sections 5 and 6.
  • We may suspend or end access for the reasons in section 4.
  • After the contract ends, we may delete your account and data as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms or the Service for an important reason: a change in law or an authority’s decision, new or changed features, a change in our costs or providers, or to protect security or prevent abuse. We email you about a material change at least 14 days before it applies (30 days for a price increase, section 5). Before that date you can cancel your plan or delete your account. If you keep using the Service after it, the new Terms apply. Corrections that do not change any obligation may be published without notice.

16. Governing law and courts

Polish law governs these Terms. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. You may sue in the court of your place of residence, and we sue a consumer only in that court.
